Who We Are

The Kairos Institute of Sound Healing, LLC was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1997 and moved to Northern New Mexico in 2001. We are the creators of the Acutonics System of Healing & Education and have trained practitioners and teachers throughout the world. The Acutonics System has been integrated into community clinics, hospitals, and private practices and the treatment results are long lasting and life changing, with thousands of case studies that speak to the efficacy of this medicine. Donna Carey and Marjorie de Muynck co-creators of the Acutonics System, have also co-written a book: Acutonics®: There’s No Place Like Ohm, Sound Healing, Oriental Medicine and the Cosmic Mysteries. A new book by Donna Carey, Ellen Franklin, MichelAngelo and Paul & Jude Ponton, AcutonicsŪ: From Galaxies to Cells, Planetary Science, Harmony, and Medicine will be published in 2008.

Experienced health care practitioners who have trained to become Certified Teachers of the Acutonics System teach our introductory and intermediate classes as well as many of the electives offered. Donna Carey, PhD, LAc, teaches the Acutonics Intensive and many of the intermediate and advanced level courses.

In 2002 we founded a sister company, Devachan Press, LLC, a company that is committed to producing the finest publications and products that are truly aligned with furthering our vision of Harmonic Medicine and Sound Healing.
