the Kairos Institute of Sound Healing, LLC and the AcutonicsŪ Sound
Healing System?
A. The Kairos Institute of Sound Healing is a Limited Liability Company under which the AcutonicsŪ Sound Healing Tools and Education Programs were created. We are a women owned company, creating new models in healing, education, and business. We are dedicated to being a socially responsible business, engaged in conscious business practices.
We also founded a sister company, Devachan Press,
LLC, which is committed to producing the finest publications
on Harmonic Medicine and Sound Healing.

Q. How are AcutonicsŪ Tuning Forks different from the other tuning fork products available on the market?
A. The AcutonicsŪ Tuning Forks are made of space grade aluminum,
custom calibrated to our exact specifications. They are color
coded, with a proprietary coating, for ease of use, and designed
with "feet" for maximum resonance on the body. Our forks
are based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun,
and other planets. Because our system is based on the cycles
and processes of nature and the cosmos known as the Music
of the Spheres, we do not use a chromatic scale. Nature
is not linear - it is inter-connective, relational, and cyclic.
The Music of the Spheres cannot be captured by scientific
or linear expression. The Acutonics Healing System is also
tied to a fully integrated educational program that certifies
AcutonicsŪ Practitioners and teachers.

Q. I'm a health care practitioner
interested in integrating Acutonics into my clinical practice.
Is this possible? What training is available?
A. Many health care practitioners including acupuncturists, body workers, physical therapists, chiropractors, nurses, doctors, naturopaths, and psychotherapists have trained in the AcutonicsŪ System of Healing and are successfully integrating the work into their existing clinical practice. We offer a number of classes designed to introduce practitioners to this system of healing. In addition, we offer a certification program for practitioners and those interested in furthering their studies to become teachers of the Acutonics System of Healing. Q. What is the difference between Harmonic Medicine and AcutonicsŪ?
A. The term Harmonic Medicine, came into contemporary use
when Donna Carey founded the Kairos Institute
of Sound Healing, llc. It is used to describe a system of
healing that links ancient sciences and arts with contemporary
sound healing methods and tools. This holistic modality uses
sound and vibration to heal the body, mind, and spirit. The
use of sound and harmonics to heal can be found in all cultures
and across time. Dating back as early as 5000 BC, references
can be found in Ancient Egypt, Samaria, Greece, Rome, China,
Africa, and throughout the Native American and indigenous
cultures. The AcutonicsŪ Healing System draws on these ancient
teachings to create a new fully integrated system of healing
and education.

Q. How does Acutonics work and what does it treat?
A. Acutonics is a powerful, deeply transformational, non-invasive
healing system that incorporates sound and vibration to re-harmonize
and attune the human energy field to achieve optimal health,
actualization, and wholeness. It has been used effectively

Q. How often should a person receive an AcutonicsŪ treatment?
A. The frequency of treatments varies depending on the need
of the individual. In a physical, emotional, or spiritual
healing crisis, some people are treated once a week. Once
stabilized, people may come once a month or every other month
for a "tune up" or preventative care that helps keep their
body in harmony. The feedback from clients is that AcutonicsŪ treatments
last longer and work more quickly and deeply than many other
modalities.
Treatments are effective for both ongoing health problems
as well as preventative or wellness care. Many people are
drawn to the work for the clarity, relaxation, and heightened
awareness they experience during and after a treatment.

Q. Can Acutonics help treat depression?
A. Depression is a complex issue and we believe that you
should work in concert with the appropriate members of your
health care team to develop a treatment plan that works for
your individual situation. However, in our own clinical practice,
we've seen that the root of depression is often a feeling
of deep spiritual disconnection or an inability to understand
our soul's purpose. We've had great success
treating both depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder
(SAD) using the AcutonicsŪ Solar 7th Tuning Forks. The Sun
Fork has an archetypal quality that represents the divine
spark within us. A powerful interval is created when the
Sun Fork and the Low Ohm Fork are combined. This interval
helps people cut through critical times such as life transitions
and life changes. Remember when applying sound frequency
to the body, a little goes a long way.

A. The Introductory Series of AcutonicsŪ Tuning Fork products,
AcutonicsŪ Ohm Starter Set, AcutonicsŪ Mars Venus, AcutonicsŪ Solar
7th, and AcutonicsŪ Chiron, are designed for use by people
interested in self-care. They are sold with basic instructions
for use. Remember that with sound and vibrational healing,
a little goes a long way, so apply and use with care. If
you are in doubt or have questions about using the forks,
contact a certified Acutonics practitioner or consider taking
one of the many public education classes that are offered.
These products were created to help each of us take control

Q. Can the Acutonics Forks be used for clearing the energy in physical space?
A. Absolutely, AcutonicsŪ is a powerful form of vibrational
healing whether you're working with an individual, a family,
a physical space, or the Planet.
You can clear, balance, ground, revitalize
a room, or create a sacred space using the AcutonicsŪ Tuning
Forks singularly or together. Energy can get stuck in
the corners or to one side of a room. This stagnation
can cause distraction, uneasiness, or feeling ill. Use
the tuning forks to adjust the energy in the space. Start
by activating the tuning forks and clearing dead space
that has accumulated in the corners. Go to the middle
of the room and activate the tuning fork. Sweep the fork
across the space until you feel a more balanced energy.
You can also activate and apply the tuning fork stem
down on the ground in the space. If you want the energy
in the room to be more initiative, use Mars; for more
creativity, use Venus; for re-grounding and rooting,
use Ohm.
