We are often asked what the difference is between the certification program that we offer and the work of others involved in sound healing that may also work with and sell tuning forks. There are many gifted teachers and practitioners who are pioneers in the field of sound healing. If you are approaching this work as a healer it’s critical that you understand the scientific rigor, research, case studies, and clinical protocols that have been established for the modality you are exploring. Our system is unique. It provides a deep, comprehensive methodology that is rooted in Oriental Medicine and music theory. Practitioners learn to work with specific frequencies and musical Intervals that are tuned to the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun and Planets, and apply these intervals directly on acupuncture and acupressure point combinations, as well as trigger points, Chakras, and in the etheric field. Each musical combination or interval that we work with has its own unique healing properties. In addition to working with tuning forks students work with essential oils and a variety of sound healing tools including Tibetan bowls and tinchas, gongs, bells, and drums, healthcare practitioners from many diverse backgrounds, including acupuncturists, massage practitioners, chiropractors, physical therapists, nurses, doctors, energy workers, psychotherapists, music therapists and astrologers have attended our training sessions and successfully integrated the Acutonics System into their clinical practice. These training sessions provide practitioners with an in depth methodology, and extensive hands on experience for the use and application of tuning forks and other sound healing tools.
