Acutonics and Sacred Geometry Come Together

Acutonics teacher, Ron LaPlace, is busy finding ways to combine his two passions - Sacred Geometry and Sound Healing. Ron participated in the recently completed 14-month intensive Acutonics Certification Program, having felt drawn to go deeper into the world of sound healing when he first connected with a set of tuning forks known as the ‘Ohm Fibonacci Set’ as part of a session with Acutonics practitioner Francois Thibaud. The session was profound on many levels. As a long-time student and teacher in the field of sacred geometry it was extremely insightful for Ron to feel the very real physical and energetic connection to a system that is known to form the foundation that life uses to grow.
The Ohm Fibonacci set of tuning forks utilize the ‘Low Ohm’ fork as the base frequency in a series of 9 that follows the mathematical sequence known as the ‘Fibonacci’. So Ohm becomes “1” in a series that goes... 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55. This means that the last fork in the set has a frequency that is 55 times the base frequency of the low ohm. The Fibonaci sequence contines on into infinity even though the set of forks ends at 55. To know the next number, you simply add the previous number to the current number (i.e. 34 + 55 = 89) and on it goes.
The Fibonaaci sequence is well known in the world of science and mathematics. A quick look on Wikipedia will offer a volume of information, including a view of what is known as the ‘Fibonacci’ spiral.
Less commonly known, is that this spiral was used by ancient civilizations in the layout of sacred sites and temples thoughout the world. The 3 pyramids on the plains of Giza are not in a straight line. They follow a curve that matches a portion of the spiral shown above. On an even larger scale, there are a series of ancient Mayan temples in the Yucatan which follw a spiral that begins in the northern part of the peninsla at the ancient ruins of Uxmal, near the city of Merida, and continues on to the ancient site of Tikal in Guatemala.
Last December, Ron led a group of people on a journey that traced the Fibonacci spiral through a series of Mayan sites. Some of these sites are very popular and some are less well known. Each site has a connection as well to one of the 8 basic chakras, which breaks down like this:

The 9 tuning forks of the Fibonacci set also create 8 ratios that correspond to the 8 chakras. As the group traveled to each site, the corresponding ratio was used to help each person attune with the energy of that chakra and of the site. It proved to be a powerful tool in opening the participants to a better understanding of each of the sites and to this incredible and important part of our world. There were times when people who were not even part of the group were lining up to take part in the ‘tuning fork alignment’.
