Who We Are
The Kairos Institute of Sound Healing, LLC was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1997 and moved to Northern New Mexico in 2001. We are the creators of the Acutonics System and have trained practitioners and teachers throughout the world. The Acutonics System of Sound Healing has been integrated into community clinics, hospitals, and private practices and the results are long lasting and life changing, with thousands of case studies that speak to the efficacy of this modality. Our first textbook Acutonics®: There’s No Place Like Ohm, Sound Healing, Oriental Medicine and the Cosmic Mysteries, was published in 2002, and the 2nd revised edition was released in 2007. A new book by Donna Carey, Ellen Franklin, MichelAngelo and Paul & Jude Ponton, Acutonics®: From Galaxies to Cells, Planetary Science, Harmony, and Medicine will be published in 2009.
The Acutonics Certification Program is taught throughout the world. Our Senior Faculty members have completed extensive training in this modality. Many have years of clinical and teaching experience, and have developed specialized electives that complement the Acutonics Certification Program. Donna Carey and Ellen Franklin have presented at conferences throughout the world. In New Mexico they work with small groups of students who are completing their clinical hours or are interested in Sustainable and Harmonic Living.
In 2002 we founded a sister company, Devachan Press, LLC, a company that is committed to producing the finest publications and products that are truly aligned with furthering our vision of Harmonic Medicine and Sound Healing.
